EDC 2010, Electric Daisy Carnival 2010 in Los Angeles, the dance music festival that lasts today Friday June 25 and also tomorrow Saturday June 26. The 14th annual festival at the L.A. Coliseum features five stages of frenetic and high-tempo music along with a myriad of weird, fun and wonderful attractions such as drum circles, circus performers, rides and even art installations.
There’ll also be the usual selection of vendors in a village where you’ll be amazed at what’s on offer. Pumping dance music will be played from 2pm until 2am and this year sees performances from over 70 artists, according to an article by Jen Woo on the Santa Barbara Independent. Just some of the acts appearing on Friday night are Moby, Kaskade and Infected Mushroom.
Meanwhile on Saturday you’ll be able to see Groove Armada, will.i.am, Armin Van Buuren and Benny Benassi, along with a host of other acts. There’ll also of course be the usual bars scattered across the grounds and plenty of festival food available. The one departure from typical festival provisions will be decent restrooms, ATM’s, lockers and even a civilized coat check.
